In 2021, we added to our events offering with new options for more intimate gatherings – including our private hire, Dining Domes on the deck; the charming Potting Shed for casual gatherings of up to 20 guests and the stunning new dining and events space ‘The Hideaway’ – ideal for private dining, intimate celebrations and business events.

Yes, Aston Marina’s main entrance gates close at night, usually closed between 11pm and 2am. They are opened the following morning when the team arrive, usually from 8am onwards. Please note the gates will be closed on Boxing Day as we are not open.
Yes, there are two circular walking routes from Aston Marina. One along the towpath towards Stone and the other towards Burston.
Yes – you can book a table online at No.26 restaurant at Aston Marina using our reservation system. You can also call the restaurant directly on 01785 819702 if you prefer to secure your booking by phone or want to reserve an outdoor table. For larger groups (10-20 guests), a deposit and pre-order will be requested.
Yes – Aston Marina offers private dining options if you’re looking for a more exclusive or special experience. There are a few ways to enjoy this:
Waterside Dome Dining: You can book one of the private domes located on the marina deck. These heated, beautifully appointed spaces seat up to eight guests and are perfect for intimate private dining, celebrations, special occasions or business meals — with the full No.26 seasonal menu available for your group.
The Potting Shed: Full of rustic charm, The Potting Shed offers an enchanting, casual private dining space set against the backdrop of the marina. Perfect for small, informal celebrations & gatherings of up to 20 guests dining from No.26 seasonal menu.
The Hideaway: A luxury private event space accommodating larger groups of up to 50 guests and suitable for celebrations and meetings with bespoke menus and dedicated planning support from our events team.

Overnight parking for motorhomes is not permitted on our premises. This helps us to comply with local regulations and ensures the safety and comfort of all visitors. If you’re travelling by motorhome, we recommend using a designated motorhome park, campsite or approved overnight parking area nearby. Local tourist information centres or motorhome apps can help you find suitable options in the area.
Absolutely! We’re happy to offer a beautiful outdoor wedding ceremony option. All outdoor ceremonies are weather dependent to ensure the comfort of you and your guests. If the weather doesn’t cooperate, we’ll seamlessly transition to an indoor backup option so your day stays stress-free. The final decision will be made with your registrars or celebrant on the day.
Unfortunately not. Due to the boats moored on the marina, Aston Marina has a higher fire risk than some wedding venues which means fireworks are not permitted on site to ensure the safety of all visitors and staff. If you’re looking for an evening photo opportunity sparklers can be a really great alternative!
Yes, you’re welcome to use third party wedding suppliers at Aston Marina, including venue dressers, musicians, photographers, and other professionals. All suppliers must provide valid Public Liability Insurance (PLI) and PAT testing certification where applicable to meet our health and safety requirements. Please discuss any unique requests with your wedding co-ordinator and refer to our supplier guidance for full details to ensure everything runs smoothly on your wedding day.

Yes – when you book The Boat House for your wedding you have exclusive use of the venue, gardens and private car park for your special day. Wedding viewing appointments may take place during the morning but will always conclude prior to your guests arrival, ensuring complete privacy for you and your guests for your celebration.
No – you are welcome to choose your own suppliers. However, our recommended suppliers come highly rated and we know you can trust them to deliver excellent service, making your wedding planning easier and stress-free!
Yes we just ask that all confetti is biodegradable and used outside only please. We do not permit confetti canons for safety and environmental reasons, ensuring a beautiful celebration that can easily be tidied up afterwards.
Yes we have accommodation at Aston Marina aboard our luxurious wide beam canal boat, custom-designed to offer the ultimate deluxe waterside accommodation for up to 4 guests. Your stay includes a delicious full cooked breakfast enjoyed in an exclusive private dome overlooking the marina the next morning. Or if you would prefer a more leisurely start to your day our team would be delighted to arrange a continental breakfast hamper delivered to the boat instead.
Walk-ins are welcome where space permits, but we highly recommend booking in advance — especially for weekends, special occasions, or larger groups — to guarantee your preferred table and time.
Yes, No.26 restaurant serves breakfast on Saturdays, Sundays and Bank Holidays. Brunch from our Lighter Bites menu is served Monday to Friday from 11am.

Yes, No.26 restaurant is accessible and there are no steps when you arrive, in the restaurant or to the outside spaces.
The Hideaway, The Boat House and No.26 are all on one level. Each has an accessible toilet and baby change.
Dogs are welcome in our outside dining spaces and domes. Only service dogs are allowed inside the restaurant. Dogs can be walked around the grounds, please keep them on a lead due to all of the wildlife and ground nesting birds.
No.26 restaurant is closed on Boxing Day so the team can have a well deserved rest. We are open every other day of the year.

For a full day celebration at The Boat House we recommend you book your civil ceremony at 1pm, 1:30pm or 2pm and ideally no earlier than 12pm. If you would like to choose an alternative timeslot or registrar availability is limited on your chosen wedding date, please speak to your wedding co-ordinator who will be more than happy to discuss adjusted timelines for your day.
For a church wedding, we recommend a 12pm, 12:30pm or 1pm ceremony to allow travel time between your church and The Boat House.
Planning your ceremony within these times helps ensure plenty of time for your drinks reception, wedding breakfast and evening celebrations at our beautiful venue.
If you have opted for a twilight wedding, your ceremony will need to take place from 4pm please.
Our licensing hours for The Boat House vary dependent on the day of the week. Sunday – Wednesday our bar closes at 11:30pm and the venue at 12:00am. Thursday our bar closes at 12:00am and the venue at 12:30am. Friday & Saturday our bar closes at 12:30am and the venue at 1:00am.
