Following the government announcement placing Staffordshire in Tier 3 we will sadly be remaining closed until Thursday 17th December at the earliest. Whilst we are so disappointed to hear this, safety remains our primary concern and we remain hopeful that we will be able to re-open following the government review on Wednesday 16th December and to help you all get into the festive spirit.
We want to thank all of our customers for your fantastic support during these challenging times – we are incredibly proud of our team and so lucky to part of such a wonderful community. As an independent family company, it goes without saying that we wouldn’t have grown to the business we are today without the unwavering support of our customers.
If you would like to support us further during this difficult time of closure, please consider enjoying one of our No.26 takeaways or treating your loved ones to a gift voucher. The team will be here everyday as we continue to take reservations for late December onwards, along with takeaway orders from Wednesday to Sunday each week.
We can’t wait to welcome you all back when the time is right!

Dining is an immersive experience, and we believe that the setting and the food are equally important. In designing No.26 we aimed to create an informal, cosy dining space that feels truly special. From the light-flooded conservatory area overlooking the marina to the interior dining space arranged around our huge wood burning stove, relaxation and enjoyment are nurtured.
The food, meanwhile, has put us firmly on the map as one of Staffordshire’s destination restaurants. Menus change with each season and the produce we use is genuinely local. This, alongside daily and weekly specials, means that there’s also something new to try – while old favourites like our pies, burgers and steaks from the grill are always on offer. At No.26 traditional British dishes rub shoulders with global flavours; modern surroundings combine with service with a smile – all this adds up to dining with a difference. Whether you join us for lunch, dinner, drinks or simply to catch up with friends over coffee and cake, we want you to relax and thoroughly enjoy your time in No.26. Make your reservation….
