Aston Marina are delighted to be partnering with AA Helicopters for a unique limited edition experience that you won’t find anywhere else in the Midlands.  On arrival, relax and enjoy a glass of Champagne  followed by a breath-taking 10-15 minute flight, departing from Aston Marina across the beautiful countryside and over the area of your choice.  After the flight, take in the buzz of your experience as you are served a delicious three course Sunday lunch by our award winning team.

Flights are available between 11am – 1pm on Sunday 29th September, with your table for Sunday lunch in No.26 restaurant reserved for you post-flight. Guests must arrive at least 30 minutes prior to the expected flight departure time for a safety briefing by AA helicopters. Please note all guests will be weighed on the day prior to flight departure as part of the relevant safety checks.

There are no age restrictions in place for the helicopter flights, however younger guests must be able to safely sit on their own seat with a parent/guardian seated next to them. Older guests must be relatively mobile to embark/disembark the helicopter safely.

Poor Weather/Postponement

In the event that flights are unable to go ahead due to poor weather (high winds or heavy rain will ground flights), guests will be able to postpone their flight and dine experience to a future date. The new experience date will be confirmed as soon as possible.

Terms & Conditions

  1. All quoted flight times, durations, distances and routes are approximate and may vary on the day of the flight due to volume of air traffic or other operational reasons.
  2. All flights are expected to depart within 15 minutes of their scheduled time, however in the event of an unexpected delay as a result of unforeseen inclement weather, an unforeseen aircraft serviceability issue or an unforeseen operational issue, it is agreed that flights may be delayed by a period of two hours from scheduled time and this unfortunate delay is considered reasonable in the circumstances. In the event of an unforeseen delay anticipated to exceed two hours, a flight experience can be postponed.
  3. Flight time is inclusive of engine start to engine stop, blocks on to blocks off (brakes) or ingress to egress of aircraft (dependent on aircraft and experience undertaken).
  4. Flights are subject to availability, weather conditions, operational matters and aircraft serviceability and as a result are subject to delay/cancellation or alteration at short notice.
  5. The operator shall not be held responsible for the costs of travel, accommodation or any other associated costs should your flight be cancelled for any reason, including aircraft non-serviceability, poor weather, operational or public heath reasons.
  6. The operator reserves the right to postpone/cancel any event due to lack of participants.
  7. The operator shall not be held liable for any expenses incurred from flight cancellations due to operational circumstances.
  8. All participants should ensure that they are in good health and if in doubt should seek medical advice of their GP.
  9. Passengers with a disability are asked to contact AA helicopters prior to booking so that an informed decision of their participation, taking into account health & safety, can be made.
  10. The Captain of the Aircraft can (at their discretion) refuse any person on board the aircraft if he/she suspects them to have consumed alcohol or illegal substances within the previous 24 hours. No refund will be payable in view of loss of experience.
  11. The Ground Crew can (at their discretion) refuse any person to board the aircraft if he/she suspects them to have consumed alcohol or illegal substances within the previous 24 hours. No refund will be payable in view of loss of experience.
  12. The Operator has a ‘Zero Tolerance’ policy. Any hostility directed at the pilot or staff will be dealt with accordingly and may result in exclusion from the booked activity or future booking and no refund will be payable in view of loss of experience. Hostility will not be tolerated in person, via telephone or electronic means.
  13. Participants wishing to take cameras and other photographic equipment on the flight do so entirely at their own risk. Loose fitting clothing or any item with the potential to cause injury will not be permitted on board on the aircraft.
  14. The Pilot will make a decision no later then 18:00 on the evening prior to the day of the event as to the suitability of the weather for the event to take place and the pilots decision will be final.

Payment

£60 per person due at time of booking.  Balance to pay on the day of the flight.
